OUR YOGA STYLES

At La Croix Yoga we offer several styles to suit your personal preference, from faster paced Ashtanga and Vinyasa flow, to Restorative, Chair and Hatha.

 

We strongly believe that everyone can experience the benefits of yoga without so much of the ‘hippy dippy’. You take from your practice exactly what you need.

 

That might simply mean ‘a fitness work-out’ at La Croix Yoga, that’s ok. It’s your practice. With several types of yoga and styles of teaching to choose from, you can choose the practice that is right for you.

Our teachers are 500 hours qualified, Yoga Alliance registered, with several years of teaching and practice experience behind them. We are also First Aid qualified and fully insured in France.

ABOUT ME

      I have always loved yoga and practiced on and off through my 20’s and 30’s and during pregnancy.Yoga was my ‘go-to’ when I was stressed or burned out but day to day I preferred military style boot-camps and high intensity training. An injury several years ago forced me to re-evaluate my personal fitness choices and my chiropractor recommended yoga for my injury. I was not convinced yoga would provide the stress relief I felt I needed, but I was soon proven wrong.

      Week by week I noticed positive changes; I had better focus, was less stressed and felt really energised. These positive changes continued as my practice evolved and my desire to know more grew. Following 10 days at an ashtanga retreat in Scotland I registered for my first yoga teaching qualification, and that was just the beginning.

   The last few years have made me reassess my priorities, and so, in 2020 I made the decision to leave my 25 year career in corporate London and permanently make the move to France to focus on teaching full time.
La Croix Yoga was born.
